Infant & child CPR, AED use, and emergency preparedness โ taught by a NICU Registered Respiratory Therapist who is also a mom. Because confidence in a crisis doesn't happen by accident.

"The best time to learn CPR is before you ever need it."
Emergencies don't wait for the right person to be in the room. They don't pause while you search for a YouTube video. They don't care that it's 2am and your hands are shaking. What they do respect โ the only thing that makes a difference โ is a caregiver who already knows exactly what to do.
Every parent wants to feel prepared. Most assume someone else in the room will step in. Our mission is to make sure that person is you โ calm, confident, and ready.
I Want to Be Ready โEvery class is led personally by Jade. No TAs, no recorded videos โ just real instruction from someone who has spent years in a NICU and knows exactly what caregivers need to feel truly prepared.

It's not just about you โ it's about everyone who cares for your child. Grandparents, babysitters, au pairs, daycare workers, and playgroup families. When the whole village is trained, everyone breathes easier (including the baby).
Because the fear of "what if" disappears when you actually know what to do.
Guidelines change. Even experienced grandparents benefit from an updated refresher with Jade.
If they're caring for your child, they should be trained. Make it a condition of hire.
The best time to train is before baby arrives โ when you have a little breathing room to practice.
Real emergencies are nuanced. Jade's training goes beyond the basics to give you a complete picture of infant and child emergency response โ because knowing when to act is just as important as knowing how.
Proper technique for newborns and babies under 1 year โ including two-finger compressions, rescue breathing, and rate/depth guidelines. Hands-on practice with an infant mannequin.
Age-appropriate compression techniques for toddlers and older children. Understanding the differences between infant and child protocols โ and when each applies.
Demystifying the Automated External Defibrillator โ how to locate one, power it on, and use it confidently. Practiced with a training AED that looks and sounds like the real thing.
Back blows and chest thrusts for infants. Abdominal thrusts for toddlers and older children. Recognizing the difference between a partial and complete obstruction โ and why it matters.
How to identify when a child is struggling to breathe โ retractions, nasal flaring, grunting, stridor. Jade's NICU background makes this section particularly powerful and specific.
When to call 911 immediately vs. when to monitor at home โ one of the most common questions parents have, answered by someone who has actually worked in both settings.
What to do โ and what not to do โ if your child has a seizure from a fever. Calm, clinical guidance that removes the panic and puts you in control of an extremely scary moment.
Current AAP guidelines on safe sleep environments. Understanding SIDS risk factors and practical steps to reduce them โ particularly important for grandparents and sitters.
Drills and scenario practice designed to build muscle memory, not just awareness. You'll leave able to perform these skills โ not just recall them on a quiz.
Hi โ I'm Jade. I'm a Registered Respiratory Therapist with a Neonatal Pediatric Specialty (RRT-NPS), an American Heart Association certified instructor, and a mother who understands that "what if" feeling doesn't go away just because you graduated from a birthing class.
I've spent my career in some of the most demanding pediatric environments in the country โ Level IV NICUs, Level 1 Trauma Centers, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Connecticut Children's Medical Center. I've been the calm person in the room when families weren't. I've helped stabilize babies that weighed less than a pound.
I created Tiny Hearts CPR because I believe every caregiver deserves that same calm. Not the "I've seen a YouTube video" kind โ the real, practiced, muscle-memory kind that actually works when your hands are shaking and your heart is pounding.
"You don't have to be a nurse or a paramedic. You just have to be prepared. That's what I'm here for."
Every kit is assembled with the same clinical eye Jade uses in a Level IV NICU. No filler, no gimmicks โ just the tools that actually matter when seconds count.
For parents of babies 0โ6 months. Nasal aspirator, thermometer, pulse oximeter, and Jade's curated reference card โ what to monitor, when to act.
The complete package for families with children 0โ5. Everything in the Newborn Kit plus first-aid supplies, emergency contact card, and the Tiny Hearts eBook.
Jade's Emergency Preparedness eBook + printable reference cards + a 30-minute follow-up video call. Perfect for out-of-state grandparents.
All kits ship within 2 business days ยท South Florida local pickup available
Questions About Kits? Ask Jade โYes โ upon successful completion of eligible sessions, you'll receive an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS or Heartsaver certification card. Certification is included in most in-office and mobile sessions; ask Jade when booking to confirm for your specific class.
Absolutely. Babies are always welcome โ it's a judgment-free zone designed for new parents. That said, you'll get more out of the hands-on practice if you have a second set of hands to take baby when you're learning. Consider bringing a partner or family member along.
In-office and mobile sessions run approximately 2โ2.5 hours depending on group size and questions. The virtual private consultation is a focused 1.5 hours. Jade never rushes โ if you have questions, there's time for them.
Yes, and not just because guidelines change (though they do). Skills decay faster than you think โ studies show retention drops significantly within just a few months without practice. Jade's classes are designed to refresh your skills and update any outdated protocols.
Yes โ Jade offers BLS (Basic Life Support) renewal courses for healthcare professionals. These are AHA-compliant and include a certification card upon completion. Contact Jade directly for scheduling and group rates for clinical teams.
Jade covers Boca Raton and surrounding areas including Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Deerfield Beach, and parts of Fort Lauderdale. For locations outside this range, please reach out โ she'll do her best to accommodate.
Of course โ expectant parents are some of the best students! Jade will make any necessary accommodations. In fact, many parents find that learning before baby arrives is less stressful and easier to retain because you're not operating on zero sleep yet.
For the knowledge component โ absolutely. For hands-on practice, Jade provides detailed real-time feedback through video and will guide you step-by-step. The virtual session works best when paired with a household partner so you can practice together under Jade's supervision.
Booking takes less than 2 minutes. The knowledge lasts a lifetime. Jade personally responds to every inquiry โ usually within a few hours.
